The CDF is one of several accredited lending agencies of Micro Investment Development Agency (MIDA) and gets all its credit funds from this source currently. The organization is located at 11 ½ Manchester Avenue, May Pen with a staff complement of five persons. The Clarendon Community Development Fund is the amalgamation of the defunct Hayes Development Fund and the May Pen Development Fund. The new organization has been functional since August1998 and over the period has experienced considerable growth. The CDF comes under the direct management of MIDA and has two experienced managers on board. It is the vision of the CCDF to make this organization the most efficient of its kind and to render quality service to the people of Clarendon by means of Business Counselling and Advisory, and the delivery of Credit for micro businesses.
