Kellits - About Us

The Kellits Community Development Fund arose out of the need for the Micro Investment Development Agency (MIDA) to promote social and economic development within the community by making funding available to individuals who would not be able to access funds from traditional institutions.

The Kellits Community Development Fund was registered July 5th, 1995 under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act with an initial membership of two (2) and share capital of $8400.00 with a grant of $350,000.00 from M.P.

Over the years the CDF has shown growth, as at March 2006 loan portfolio stands at $34,846,480.00
