Mrs. Stewart-Graham's story is one of vision, hardwork and the determination to succeed. In 2001, she was granted her fist loan from the C.D.F. to stock her store, which had been in operation for one year. The client's success is as a result of her creativity, discipline and demand for her items has resulted in the opening of another store and both stores are doing well.
After Hurricane Ivan devastated the parish of Manchester in September 2004, Mrs. Stewart-Graham realized that the needs of clients had changed; therefore, he had to be creative and stocked her store with the basic food items which were sold within record time. She even sold some of the items to grocers in and around Manchester .
She is a valuable customer of the C.D.F. of the Manchester C.D.F. and has an excellent repayment record and in 2004 when she again approached the C.D.F, funding was granted without delay.
Mrs. Stewart-Graham recommended one other client who was successful in obtaining a loan from the C.D.F.
