St. Elizabeth - About Us

The St. Elizabeth Community Development Foundation is a Community Based Organization whose genesis is the Micro Investment Development Agency, which arose out of the need to provide a conduit through which the Micro Investment Funding could be channelled to potential micro investors in the parish who otherwise could not access funds from the traditional lending Agencies because of lack of collateral.

The St. Elizabeth Community Development Foundation was registered May 25,1995 under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act with an initial membership of one (1) and share capital of $400.00.

The St. Elizabeth Community Development Foundation Limited was established out of the need to enhance economic growth through the fostering of Micro Enterprises. Individuals are also encouraged to save, since it is the means by which wealth is accumulated for future investments for the growth and development of the community. Individuals can also save towards their 25% Security Deposit.
