Mr. Lee knew what he wanted from a very early age, he had a passion for making things and he dreamed about owning his own business. These urges developed as one of his neighbour's makes and sells furniture; he was inspired, to him they were ‘awesome'. He decided that this was his chosen path. At High School Mr. Lee chose for his vocation Carpentery and Joinery. When he graduated he pursued his career by attending the then Ministry of Youth and Sport Institute at Rockfort, St. Andrew now (Rockfort H.E.A.R.T. Training Institute). At completion he received certification of his skill and he ventured into the world of business.
Mr. Lee gain employment at various furniture stores/shops, however he was not satisfied. To him it was not profitable and the urge to own and operate his own furniture shop was still present. Equipped with adequate knowledge about the environment of the furniture market, he ventured into business on his own. Things were going well; over the respective period Mr. Lee acquired several machines that enabled him to meet his customers demand, more adequately.
In 2005 after purchasing a machine that he needed, Mr. Lee realized that he did not have funding to purchase material to fill his orders. He shares his concerns with a few of his friends and he was directed to the C.D.F. His need was genuine and subsequent to relevant process, he was granted a loan in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50 0000). He established a good relationship with the fund by making timely payment on his account. Mr. Lee has borrowed from the C.D.F. on several occasions, with an excellent repayment record. At present his business employs five persons including him-self. His last loan of two hundred and eighty thousand dollars ($280 000.00) was required for the purchase of a motor van to alleviate the problem of transportation of finish goods and material.
